Application Process

1. Private Tour of the School

These individualized tours take place during the school day. During your tour, we will discuss: Montessori philosophy, important characteristics of a Montessori school, and a description of the programs offered at OMS Montessori. You will receive additional information about your program of interest following your tour. Please book your tour here. If telephone is more preferable, please call Laura at (613)- 521-5185.

2. Apply to OMS Montessori

Return the application form to our office. *Applications for Elementary students must be accompanied by a $250.00 admission fee and a copy of the student’s most recent report card. Prospective elementary students are invited to join a class for one or two days as part of the application process and to determine that OMS Montessori will be the right fit for them.

3. Offer of Enrolment Contract

The final step in the process is to be offered a contract. Your child’s space is confirmed when once OMS Montessori has received the signed contract and deposit fee. Welcome to the OMS Montessori community!

Tuition

OMS Montessori is a not-for profit organization with a mandate to provide our students with the highest quality Montessori education while remaining sustainable for our current and prospective parents.

Our tuition fees are as all-inclusive as possible so we are not asking parents for additional money throughout the year.

Tuition is used to cover the operating costs of the school.

*Before and After School Care is available for Elementary students at an additional cost. Supervision is available starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 5:45 p.m.

Hours of operation : 7:30 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.
Included in tuition : Two snacks and lunch, catered by Whole Foods

Tuition : $12,852.76 (12 month program)

+ 2.4% surcharge for credit card payments

Families with three or more children enrolled at The Element and/or OMS Montessori, will receive a 10% tuition reduction on the highest tuition for each of the third and fourth children.
(Your November and December payments will be adjusted)

Program : Casa  (3 – 6 years)
Hours served : 10
Hours of operation : 7:30 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.
Included in tuition : Two snacks and lunch, catered by Whole Foods

Tuition : $9,762.33

+ 2.4% surcharge for credit card payments

Families with three or more children enrolled at The Element and/or OMS Montessori, will receive a 10% tuition reduction on the highest tuition for each of the third and fourth children.

Program : Elementary (grades 1-6)
Hours served : 7
Hours of operation : 8:45 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
Included in tuition : Activity Fee

Admission fee : $250
Tuition :$17,524.00

Financial Aid

The Beth MacKay Bursary Fund allows OMS Montessori and The Element to maintain a diversity of students and families in its community by providing financial assistance to those who would not, otherwise, be able to remain at OMS and The Element.

No more than 50% of tuition will be covered by the bursary and the bursary will not be available to those who are not yet students of OMS or The Element.
